The 18th century farmhouse has been tastefully converted to create Aran, Tryfan and Sygun Cottage. Retaining many of the original features these cottages offer superb quality Snowdonia holiday cottage accommodation and provide the perfect base to explore the wonders of North Wales.
Set within 4.5 acres of private woodland and only 300 yds from the foot of Snowdon, as well as opposite one of the most beautiful rivers in North Wales and close to Lake Dinas, our quality self-catering cottage accommodation is the ideal base from which to explore Snowdonia with its spectacular scenery and fascinating mix of mountains, lakes, woodland and streams.
A short drive away you will find beautiful sandy beaches, golf courses and plenty of local attractions including Sygun Copper Mine , Snowdon Mountain Railway and
Caernarfon Castle to name a few.
Aran Cottage – four bedroom
The largest of the properties situated within the farmhouse, Aran cottage offers quality accommodation for up to 8 people.
The ground floor accommodation comprises of a living room with the original open fire place, comfortable sofa, Sky T.V and DVD player. Across the hallway is another large reception room with comfortable seating which leads onto the Kitchen/Diner, this makes a great place to gather and socialise. The kitchen/diner has all the usual kitchen utensils plus large fridge/freezer, microwave, washing machine and tumble dryer.
The first floor provides 4 bedrooms. The master bedroom has a king-size 4 poster bed and chest of draws. Bedroom 2 has a king-size bed, large pine wardrobe and a full length mirror. Bedroom 3 has a single wrought iron bed and cot. Bedroom 4 has a futon which folds down to make a comfortable double bed. There is a large bathroom with bath and electric shower.
Aran cottage has newly fitted carpets throughout and is heated via electric heaters in each room.
Bedlinen and electricity included at no extra cost.
Tryfan Cottage - one bedroom
Forming part of a large period stone built farmhouse, newly converted Tryfan cottage offers spacious accommodation for two people. The accommodation comprises of open plan Lounge/Diner with comfortable relaxing sofa chairs, large fireplace, Sky TV and a dining table.
The well equipped kitchen area has a fridge, Microwave, Gas Cooker and all the usual equipment and utensils.
The double bedroom has original slate flooring and lightly painted walls. It has plenty of drawer space for your clothes and an electric heater for those cooler night.
The bathroom has an electric shower,
washbasin and toilet.
There is a patio area with table and chairs where you can relax and enjoy the surroundings.
Sygun Cottage - two bedroom
Recently refurbished including new kitchen and bathrooms Sygun cottage offers delightful accommodation ensuring your stay will be an enjoyable and memorable one.
The accommodation comprises of a kitchen/diner with large fridge/freezer, microwave and all the usual kitchen utensils. The living room has two leather sofas, sky TV and DVD player, it also benefits from fitted carpet and an original open fireplace for those cosy nights in.
Upstairs there are two bedrooms; the master bedroom has a double wrought iron bed and mahogany chest of drawers and the second bedroom having a bunk bed and chest of drawers.
Both bedrooms have fitted carpets and benefit from en-suits bathrooms with toilet, washbasin and power showers.
Sygun cottage is heated via electric heaters.
Bedlinen and electricity included at no extra cost.
Dogs are welcome at £3 per dog per night.
Snowdon Cottage - sleeps 2-8 people
Snowdon Cottage is a 200-year-old detached stone built cottage set amidst the stunning scenery of the Snowdonia national park.
Inside, is a large open plan Lounge/Diner with comfortable sofa’s, electric fire for those cooler days, sky TV and a dining table.
The fully equipped kitchen includes a tall fridge, microwave and large gas cooker.
There is plenty of kitchen storage, and a full compliment of the usual kitchen equipment and culinary essentials.
Upstairs are four bedrooms, one king-size room at the end of the cottage, two bedrooms at the rear of the property, one double and one bunk bed which has views across the surrounding fields and mountains.
The fourth bedroom is situated at the front of the property and looks out onto the woodland garden area, this also has a set of bunk beds.
All bedrooms include drawer space, fitted carpet and electric heaters. Bed linen is provided.
There is a bathroom with a large shower, vanity unit and toilet.
There is a woodland garden area with seating so you can relax and enjoy the views of the surrounding mountains.
