St Tudno Hotel
Delightful small sea front hotel..Come and discover this hidden gem.
Without doubt one of the most delightful small hotels to be found on the coast of Britain, St Tudno Hotel and Restaurant offers a very special experience. Countless awards for everything from its food to its service, its welcome to its accommodation, have placed it at the forefront of thousands of seaside hotels.
The location couldn't be better. It stands on Llandudno's fine promenade opposite the Victorian Pier, gardens and beach and is sheltered by the nearby Great Orme headland. It is ideally situated for visits to Snowdonia, Conwy and Caernarfon Castles, and glorious walks on the Great Orme, Bodnant Gardens and the Isle of Anglesey
As soon as you step inside the door you know that you're somewhere special. The entranceway opens out into a stunning sequence of richly decorated rooms that have received lavish amounts of care and meticulous attention to detail. Everything is of the highest quality, including the food, served in the superb air-conditioned and stylishly refurbished Terrace Restaurant whose much-praised cuisine has won the hotel prestigious awards.
The Terrace restaurant is Italianate, with murals of Lake Como, stone fountain, tented ceiling, and chandeliers. Ian Watson has returned as head chef; his style is 'modern, classic'. The seasonal menu is of the highest order, displaying a mix of European and Welsh influences, complemented by an outstanding wine list which (you've guessed it!) has won yet more awards.
Each of the 18 bedrooms are individually designed and priced according to size and location. All rooms are centrally heated, some are air-conditioned, and all 3 main floors are served by a passenger lift.
All the bedrooms are en-suite, with many additional items which include mini bar, tea and coffee tray, flat screen television with Freeview, direct dial telephone with internet access, radio alarm, hair dryer, monogrammed robes, Egyptian cotton sheets, Molton Brown toiletries and a welcoming small bottle of sparkling wine to add that extra touch of indulgence. To complete your comfort there is a fully stocked mini bar with fresh milk, Villeroy and Boch tea service and homemade shortbread biscuits.
