Bodlondeb Holiday Cottage

Charmingly Restored 17th Century Holiday Cottage In Betws y Coed (Sleeps up to 10)

Betws-y-Coed is North Wales' most popular inland resort. Surrounded by dense woodland and magnificent mountain country, this is a haven for walkers, photographers and artists.
At Betws-y-Coed the River Conwy meets its three tributaries flowing from the west, and the beauty of the area is enhanced by cascading waterfalls, river pools and ancient bridges. Most famous of all are the magnificent Swallow Falls, situated where the Llugwy River hurls itself into a spectacular chasm. The village has shops, pubs and places to eat and is home to The Snowdonia National Park Visitor Centre.

The Property: Bodlondeb (Sleeps up to 10)

A charming, 17th century, stone built cottage, supremely located in the delightful village of Betws-y-Coed, the property is the oldest house in the village and was a former Coaching Inn known as the Miners Inn.
Bodlondeb also had the first ever telephone exchange in the village.

It has been our home for the past 30 years
until we renovated and extended the adjoining former stable block and blacksmiths known as Tan-y-Foel, which is now our new home.
Bodlondeb is light and airy throughout and decorated in a traditional style, amid an inviting "home from home" atmosphere.

The house will accommodate ten people in comfort and has been sensitively renovated to provide a pleasant bright airy interior while retaining the original character of the house.
Bodlondeb has been recently extended to provide 5 double bedrooms with two of them having superb en-suite facilities.
