Carys Wyn Alhoff-Roberts offers a range of holistic therapies in the Oasis Treatment Room here at Mynydd Ednyfed Country House.
The treatment room is located in the the old stables, one of Mynydd Ednyfed's outbuildings. Therapies include Reiki, Indian Head Massage, Aromatherapy, Swedish Massage, Reflexology and a range of facials.

Holistic therapies help to relieve the stresses of todays hectic lifestyle and leave the patient feeling relaxed, yet refreshed. They help to dissolve physical and mental strains and can be beneficial for many ailments and illnesses. A qualified therapist such as Carys will be able to taylor the treatment to the clients needs and wishes and so achieve the best possible results.
An aromatherapy facial could be just a special pampering treat, or the essential preperation for a special occasion. Whatever the purpose of the facial, it is always a sensual experience that leaves you looking, and feeling rejuvenated.
The oasis is also offering bridal and photographic make-up, eyebrow shaping, eyelash tinting and perming, Derma-pro and MyOxinol facials.

Mynydd Ednyfed is thrilled to be able to offer this fantastic mini break, having teamed up with two local therapist we think we make the winning team for an excellent “get away from it all” type of weekend, not only will you have the chance to relax, you will also go away with new skills, the type of skills that we can implement in our everyday lives, please come and join us and go away feeling you again!
FRIDAY
6.30 pm – Meet with Carys and Patrica. This will give you the chance to ask any questions you may have and also to book times for treatments over the next two days.
7.30pm – Evening meal.
SATURDAY
8.30am – 9.45am - Breakfast
10.00 am – Meet in the conservatory.
Carys will be giving a talk on “The positive effect of good posture, alignment and balance on your health and well-being”.
Patrica will be performing the treatments in our holistic therapy room the “Oasis”.
12.30 – Healthy Lunch
2pm – Restart Workshop
Carys will be in the “Oasis”.
Patrica will be giving a talk on “Aromatherapy at home” this will introduce participants to the healing powers of essential oils.
4pm – 4.30pm – Finish

SUNDAY

Carys will be performing the treatments in the “Oasis”.
Patrica will be giving a talk on “Managing stress”. This workshop looks at how stress can affect us and offers some easy, relaxing ways to help alleviate stress and tension. Participants can learn an easy Indian head massage routine and practice some breathing and relaxation techniques.
12.30 – Healthy Lunch
2pm – Restart Workshop
Carys will be showing you how to “Improve strength and vitality with Pilates” to participate in this session you will need to bring with you, comfortable clothing, an exercise mat and a small pillow.
4pm – 4.30pm – Finish
