Aballu Truffles established itself two years ago and is situated just outside of Wrexham city. The company owned and run by Jo Edwards makes fresh handcrafted truffles and other chocolate confectionaries.
The idea began in 1999 after Jo continual made truffles for friends and family as gifts for special occasions. Her home gradually became lovingly known as 'Jo's Truffle Mountain' for her continual habit of having large amounts of homemade truffles on her kitchen table.
The company makes an extensive range of more than 100 different varieties of truffles. Flavours ranging from vanilla to Irish cream and from spiced orange crisp to green tea. All of which are suitable for vegeterians.
The name Aballu translates from Welsh to mean '...And such things' which is included in the brand logo. The company is proud to be Welsh and is constantly striving to produce new intresting flavours.
